These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Shilo Med website at shilomed.com (the “Site”) and the resources we make available through it. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Shilo Med (“Shilo Med,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a compliance consulting firm serving med spas, aesthetic, urgent care, psychiatry, and physician-led practices. The Site provides information about our services and free resources such as articles and a self-service compliance audit.
The content on this Site, including blog posts, the compliance audit, and any downloadable materials, is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, medical, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional regarding your specific circumstances. Using the Site, contacting us, or completing the audit does not create a consulting, advisory, attorney-client, or other professional relationship. Any engagement with Shilo Med is governed by a separate written agreement that we both sign.
Our online compliance audit and other free resources are educational tools. They provide a general, automated estimate based on the answers you provide and do not constitute a comprehensive compliance review. Results do not guarantee any particular outcome, compliance status, or result in an inspection, audit, or legal proceeding. You are responsible for verifying your obligations under the laws and regulations that apply to your practice.
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. By using it, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into these Terms.
You agree not to:
When you contact us, book a consultation, or submit the audit, you consent to receive communications from us related to your request. Scheduling and certain communications may be handled through third-party tools embedded on the Site. Your use of those tools is also subject to the third party's terms and privacy practices.
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, branding, and the design and structure of our materials, are owned by Shilo Med or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Site for your own informational and internal business purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Site or our services, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use them without restriction or compensation. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and represent that you have the right to provide it.
The Site may contain links to, or embed, third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Accessing third-party sites or services is at your own risk.
The Site and all content and resources are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information on it is accurate, complete, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shilo Med and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shilo Med and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We may modify or discontinue the Site, or update these Terms, at any time. When we update the Terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Shilo Med regarding your use of the Site.
